Fish, Broccoli, Cauliflower and Cheese Puree

We all know Omega-3 Fatty Acids are incredibly important. They have all sorts of powerful health benefits for your body and brain.

In fact, few nutrients have been studied as thoroughly as Omega-3 Fatty Acids, so based on this, the evidence is real. This meal is a great puree for introducing protein to your baby’s diet and ensuring they are getting plenty of Omega-3 nutrients for their brain and body.  It is so quick and easy it’s virtually fail proof.


Suitable for 6 months plus
Makes about 3 cups


1/4 small cauliflower, cut roughly
1 broccoli cut into florets
1 fillet of mild white fish, e.g. basa or flathead tails
1/2 cup of tasty cheese
1 knob butter (optional)



  • Place cauliflower and broccoli into a steamer basket or into saucepan with a touch of water for 5-8 minutes until fork tender.
  • Add the fish; steam for a further 2 minutes until cooked. Remove from heat and tip into bowl.
  • Add the cheese and butter, if using. Blend with a stick blender or in a food processor until smooth – you may need to add a tablespoon of the steaming water to achieve desired consistency.
  • Serve warm to baby, and freeze remaining in portions.
